Family Dinner - The Big Game
We usually have family over for Sunday dinner on the weekends with or without a big event. Since there is a big game on this weekend, I thought it would be best to share a few of our family game day favorites so you have some quick and easy things to put together if you are having a party or going somewhere else.
Here is our favorite Guacamole recipe:
2 ripe avocados sliced, removed from shell and pit removed
1/2 jalapeno small diced, seeds and ribs removed
2 tablespoons BrewBQ Sauce Mix
1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
1 tablespoon lime juice
1/2 tablespoon minced onion
2 tablespoons cilantro
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 ripe tomato small diced, seeds and pulp removed
Put everything into a bowl (avocado and lime juice first so the avocados don't brown). I take a pastry cutter and use that to chop up the avocados and mix everything together. Serve with some warm tortilla chips and enjoy!

Just remember calories don't count on game day and it is a marathon not a sprint. Pace yourself if you want to make it through all the food and the amazing commercials. Or just run an actual marathon and you won't need to worry about the calories. Enjoy the game!
